At Instituto Plancarte San Juan del Río, the English Department is dedicated to delivering an outstanding bilingual education that empowers our students to communicate with confidence in an increasingly interconnected world, while nurturing the moral and Christian values that embody our Guadalupano Plancartino educational philosophy.

Our English Programs

At Instituto Plancarte, our bilingual program begins in Kindergarten and continues through 5th Grade. Children learn English naturally through daily exposure (2+hrs daily), developing listening, speaking, reading, writing, and thinking skills with confidence. With engaging activities, collaborative learning, and dynamic classroom experiences, English becomes a meaningful part of everyday life.

From 6th Grade through High School and Bachelor’s programs, students join our Congregational English Program with daily English instruction (50 min class). This program builds fluency, critical thinking, and academic language, helping students gain confidence in using English in real-life and academic settings.

English Beyond the Classroom

Throughout the school year, students have numerous opportunities to practice English beyond the classroom through meaningful academic, cultural, civic, and religious events. These include Eucharistic Celebrations, Spelling Bee, Speech Contest, Round Tables, Panels of Discussion, Cultural and Civic Assemblies, where they showcase their language proficiency while developing leadership, public speaking, collaboration, and intercultural awareness.

Building a Bilingual Community of Faith and Excellence

The English Department strives to build a true bilingual community where students develop the linguistic competence needed to succeed academically and personally. At the same time, we are dedicated to forming individuals who live out the moral and religious values inspired by the Gospel and the educational legacy of our Guadalupano Plancartino schools.

Our Goal is to provide an integral education that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and values to become proficient English speakers, compassionate leaders, and responsible global citizens, always guided by faith, excellence, and service.
